Storm Damage

Natural disasters like strong storms can cause severe and long-lasting damage of trees. Branches burst and often stay caught in the crown of the tree. These branches are very dangerous as they can fall down any time, even days after the storm has passed and pose a risk of falling on people and property underneath. Trees that were tilted or uprooted by the storm are under great tension. The removal of trees under these circumstances is very dangerous and has to happen with the greatest care to avoid further damage of the environment and to guarantee the safety of our employes. In this case it is of great importance that the damaged tree is examined by an expert because a variety of injuries is not obvious on first sight. Cracks in the stem and damaged roots cause instability. The tree is poor in health and will subsequently represent a hazard even under rather mild environmental circumstances.
